Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Keemti Jewels has expanded to 11 retail stores within four months of launch and is targeting a network of 88 stores by December 2026, as it accelerates its presence across India’s jewellery markets.

Founded by Armaan Kothari and backed by the Kothari Group, entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath and Kavin Shah, Keemti currently has stores across Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Delhi and Gurgaon. Its existing network includes both high-street and in-mall locations, with the brand planning further expansion across metropolitan and Tier 2 markets.

The brand’s expansion is built around a direct-to-consumer and vertically integrated model. Keemti draws on the Kothari Group’s reported 45-plus years of jewellery manufacturing experience and controls its value chain from manufacturing through retail. The company says this allows it to sell certified lab-grown diamond jewellery directly to consumers while reducing intermediary mark-ups.

Alongside its physical stores, Keemti is developing an omnichannel model combining retail outlets, e-commerce and marketplace channels. The company is also looking to extend its presence beyond established metros into Tier 2 cities, where it sees an opportunity for contemporary lab-grown diamond jewellery.

Armaan Kothari, Founder of Keemti Jewels, said the company plans to continue opening stores in existing markets while entering new cities as it works towards its 88-store target by the end of 2026.

If achieved, the planned expansion would take Keemti from 11 stores to 88 within the same calendar year, making the pace of retail rollout a central part of the brand’s growth strategy.
