Ekatra Jewels Raises ₹10 Crore in Strategic Investment at ₹100 Crore Valuation
Ekatra Retail Ventures Pvt. Ltd., the company behind Ekatra Jewels, has raised ₹10 crore in strategic investment at a reported valuation of ₹100 crore. The funding will support brand building, retail expansion and product development across India and international markets.
The investment follows ₹10 crore of founder capital that the company says was deployed over two years of pre-launch development. Ekatra was founded by Pavitra Gandhi, with Ekta Kapoor and Sussanne Khan joining as co-founders of Ekatra Jewels. Khan also serves as Co-Founder and Design Director.
The company has built its proposition around a vertically integrated model covering diamond production and jewellery manufacturing. Ekatra says it grows and cuts its own Type IIa lab-grown diamonds and has developed four patented diamond cuts, including the 108-facet Shristi Ratna™, alongside proprietary hollow-gold construction technology.
The hollow-gold technology is central to Ekatra’s response to rising gold prices. According to the company, the construction method is designed to create larger, statement-style jewellery forms while using less gold than conventional solid construction. The approach is currently represented in the brand’s OH MY GOLD collection by Sussanne Khan.
Ekatra says it has developed a library of more than 5,000 designs for markets including India, the United States and the Middle East, as it looks to build an internationally positioned jewellery brand from India.
The latest funding places Ekatra among the newer Indian jewellery businesses attracting strategic capital around technology-led product development, lab-grown diamonds and alternative approaches to gold consumption.
