These companies, many of which are small and medium-sized family businesses, form the backbone of the sector.<\/p><p>India\u2019s diamond industry directly employs around 1.3 million people, with Surat home to nearly 8,00,000 workers, solidifying its position as a global leader in diamond cutting and polishing. The sector also supports various related industries, including logistics, transportation, retail, and equipment manufacturing for diamond processing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f6bf870 e-flex
